New Delhi:
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said on Friday that Mark Zuckerberg-led Meta does not share actual advertising metrics and that his provide better returns.
When a follower posted that X’s returns to date were better than Meta’s and that Meta was lying about their advertising metrics, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX responded: “Yeah.”
“The relevance of our ads has improved dramatically,” the tech billionaire said.
Another X user commented that the trend of increasing ad costs and declining ROAS (return on ad spend) on Meta is already evident and only seems to be “getting worse.”
“Given advertisers no control over ad relevancy and Meta’s reach, it’s no surprise that we’re now onboarding so many new advertisers on X,” he added.

In response, Musk wrote: “Advertise on X.”
In February, the social media platform run by Musk allowed advertisers to place ads next to certain content creators on the platform through a “creator targeting” program.
The decision allows advertisers to prevent their ads from appearing next to controversial or objectionable content.
Notably, in November, X CEO Linda Yaccarino acknowledged that some advertisers had left the social media platform following outrage over Musk’s support of anti-Semitic content.
