Meghan Markle is not bowing to pressure to risk her children’s safety amid uncertainty over returning to the UK with Prince Harry.
talking to talktv, Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths claimed the Duchess of Sussex is unlikely to accept King Charles’s recent olive branch.
For those unaware, the 75-year-old monarch reportedly invited the Sussexes to spend the summer at Balmoral with the royal family in a “desperate” attempt to see the children.
“Even if Harry comes, I can’t imagine a world in which Meghan will come with kids, that’s really sad,” Griffiths told the host.
The editor of the Mail on Sunday suggested that the Suits alumnus is not a fan of the royal family’s rural life.
She explained: “[Meghan] I was never really all that impressed with rural royal life and cold twin radiators and boot rooms.
“I mean can you imagine Meghan being chased around in highlands all summer? To be honest, I really can’t,” the royal expert said.
Reports emerged that the monarch was looking forward to seeing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as she undergoes treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.
