Meghan Markle has been warned not to use her royal title for commercial purposes.

Meghan recently launched American Riveira Orchard, a lifestyle brand focused on beauty, wellness and home.

Although little is known about the project, Tom accused the former actress of using her royal title to promote her brand and its products.

He claimed: “Meghan has embarked on a very dangerous path by setting up a new business project – every time she steps up the business side of her life in the US, she risks losing her royal title.”

“Right now, the UK’s senior royals are watching and waiting – they don’t want to take too hasty action for fear of being accused of retaliation. But when things calm down, Meghan may not feel comfortable making a decision,” Quinn explained .

Meghan and Prince Harry caused an uproar among royal watchers when they launched a website called Sussex earlier this year.

They also reportedly changed their children Archie and Lilibet’s surnames to Sussex in an attempt to keep the foursome under an umbrella.

Experts and commentators point out that the Sussexes struck a deal with the late Queen Elizabeth II before her death that prohibited them from using their royal titles in their day-to-day work.
