King Charles donates all proceeds from jam sales to charity

According to royal biographer Angela Levin, Meghan Markle feels insecure compared to King Charles over their respective jam sales.

She appeared on the British news show alongside Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster to discuss the surge in sales of Monarch’s Highgrove Organic Strawberry Jam after Meghan trialled a similar product.

Levine said Meghan’s products may have problems because the ingredients come from her own garden.

“How many strawberries does she[Meghan]have?” Levine asked.

“There won’t be thousands of people asking for jam, we won’t have it.

“Something made her angry. Jealousy, really. King Charles brought all the food and jam from elsewhere.

“He wouldn’t do it and he wouldn’t let his employees do it, of course not. They receive all the material and they sell it.

“He gave all the money to charity but all the money from the brand went to Meghan.

“People think, ‘If we’re going to buy jam, if that’s what’s popular, let’s buy it from the King, not from Meghan.’”

Meghan sent her limited-edition strawberry jam to friends ahead of the official launch of a range of merchandise from her brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Fashion designer Tracy Robbins was one of those to post pictures of the jam jars, which she showed sent by the Duchess in a basket of lemons.
