Meghan Markle’s brother is under water among royal experts after uploading a series of videos online mocking the duchess.
Thomas Markle Jr has been receiving cash tips from fans on YouTube in exchange for vicious slander against his half-sister.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond condemned the attacks in an opinion piece Mirrorcalling on streaming platforms to take action.
“Thomas Jr. was apparently jealous of his half-sister’s fame and wealth and attempted to profit by prostitution on YouTube,” she claimed.
The royal expert lamented: “Having one of her own flesh and blood lead this attack must have felt like the ultimate betrayal for Meghan.”
Jenny went on to compare the experience to that of Kate Middleton, who has been absent from public appearances since the beginning of the year and whose health has recently been affected by wild conspiracy theories.
“Have we learned nothing from the way Princess Diana was treated 30 years ago?” she wondered, adding: “Meghan and Catherine must have felt equally abused by the online trolls who attacked them.”
In a message written directly to the duchess, Thomas referred to Meghan as an “old witch” and called her a “demon reptilian snake… with a black evil soul” among other vile things.
