According to a report in the Daily Mail, the Duchess of Sussex was forced to make the decision because her aide, Lemonda, reportedly raised concerns about “scheduling conflicts” with her upcoming Netflix cooking show.

Royal commentator Richard FitzWilliams described the excuse as “dubious” in the interview. SunNote: “It’s very strange to keep something on ice for a year.”

“If it’s current, if it’s big, if you’re excited about it, and then you want to launch it.

“It’s very curious, because normally, when someone is doing well or is in the news, you can’t get enough of that,” he explained.

The royal expert claimed the sudden stop could be due to Meghan’s husband Prince Harry’s history of attacking the family.

He told the outlet: “This is an opportunity to bring attention to the fact that she’s doing something that doesn’t involve upsetting the royal family.

“That’s my concern, because for almost four years it felt like he did practically nothing else. That was painful. This is their problem.

“It’s the only thing they can do successfully is become rebel royalty. “Now is definitely not the time for this,” Fitzwilliams said.
