Ashok Bhalavi, the Samajwadi Party’s (BSP) candidate from Madhya Pradesh’s Betul Lok Sabha constituency, died on Tuesday, officials said.

District Collector Narendra Kumar Survyavanshi said that information about the death of Ashok Bhalavi has been forwarded to the Election Commission and further action will be taken as per its instructions action.

Dr. Manish Lashkare, who runs a private hospital, said the Philippine central bank leader suffered a heart attack and was dead when he was taken to the hospital.

The second phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections will be held on April 26 in Betul.
