A person lost his life on Thursday after lightning in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
The deceased has been identified as Tariq Ahmed Pandar, son of Mohammad Shaban Padre.
According to officials, he was killed in the afternoon and was immediately taken to the district hospital Kulgam.
However, doctors of DH Kulgam declared him dead on arrival.
“He was brought to the hospital at 3:40 pm and found that he was a victim of power strike,” said the official.
