Traffic stopped on Jammu-Srinagar highway after Madslide in Ramban

Srinagar, May 02: Traffic at Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) was suspended from both directions on Friday afternoon, when Chamba Seri area of ​​Ramban district was killed.

Traffic department officials said that due to sudden landslides, the vehicle movement has been completely stopped, and road withdrawal operations are going on.

“The movement has been stopped from both sides. Passengers are advised not to travel on NH -44 until the road is cleaned,” the official said.

Officials have urged the passengers to investigate the latest road status through the official social media platform of the Traffic Police, including Twitter and Facebook.
