In Baramulla, the police arrested an accused persons involved in the commission of crime and crack the case of theft and recovered the stolen property from his possession.
A spokesperson said on 30/04/2025, police station Boniyar received a complaint with a Mohammed, who accused the son of Mohammad Ramadan Parre of Abdul Rahim Parre, accused of illegal cutting and theft of his popper trees by unidentified persons of Pehalipora Boniyar.
Accordingly, a case video of FIR No. 30/2025 was registered under the relevant sections of the law and investigation was initiated.
During the investigation, the investigation team made a suspect void on a suspect, identified as Mohammad Maqbool Mir, a resident of Gholim Mir, who accepted the crime and revealed that Mohammad Ramzan Parre’s son Manzoor Ahmed Parre, son of Mohammad Ramzan Parre, was also a resident of Pehalipora Bunioni as his partner in a case. After continuous interrogation, the accused accepted his participation in the commission of the crime. Subsequently, both the accused were arrested and on their disclosure, the stolen poplar tree logs were recovered from their possession.
