In a tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal on Tuesday, a woman and her two daughters died and a girl was admitted to hospital with serious injuries after she hanged herself, a police official said. .

The incident took place on Tuesday morning in Langdia village under Gonga police station in the state capital. The deceased were identified as Sanjeeta (28), Aradhya (5) and Shrishti (1.5), while a girl undergoing treatment was identified as Manu (2.5).

After receiving the news, the police immediately rushed to the scene to investigate.

Bhopal Superintendent of Police (SP, Rural) Pramod Kumar Sinha told news agency ANI: “We received information at 7.30 am that a woman and her child were He hanged himself in Rondia village under Gonga police station.” When police rushed to the spot, they found a woman and her two children dead while a girl was taken to hospital. “

Thereafter, the police called the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team and after conducting Panchnama, all the bodies were sent for post-mortem, he added.

“During the current preliminary investigation, we learned that the woman had conflicts with her parents-in-law. Her husband was an alcoholic and often beat the woman. Since there were only three daughters, information about harassment and torture regarding dowry and the absence of a son also aroused people’s concern. Note. We are investigating all aspects and whatever facts are found, action will be taken based on the facts,” the official added.
