Four goats have been killed after accidents in a herd that has risen to prominence during the coronavirus pandemic.

north Wales Police confirmed they arrived at the scene of the incident at 9.10pm on Sunday.

Police said the incident happened on the A470 Wormhout Way in Llandudno.

Police said the incident involved “a car and some goats that were scattered on the road”.

A spokesman said: “Officers attended the investigation along with the local authority’s highways department and we are currently investigating the incident.”

A spokesman for Conwy Council confirmed four goats were killed in the incident.

spokesperson for the organization Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals “Very sad to hear that many goats were killed in this incident,” he said.

They added: “We are pleased to hear that police and local authority highways teams are attending the investigation and we understand that the investigation is ongoing.”
