Kris Jenner’s sister, Karen Houghton, died of cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac arrhythmia. TMZ Died on March 19 at the age of 65.

Horton’s death certificate also mentioned type 2 diabetes as a secondary underlying cause, the outlet reported.

Jenner, 68, announced her sister’s death in an emotional Instagram post last month.

“It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away unexpectedly yesterday,” Kardashian sisters the star wrote in the caption.

“My heart aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray God guides us through this difficult time.”

Jenner continued: “Karen is beautiful inside and out. She is the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive, vulnerable, and so funny. She is always grateful and appreciative of her life and cherishes her family and friends, especially her beautiful daughter.

“She held such a big part of my heart and I cherish every memory we had together. Karen’s passing reminds us that life is so short and precious and there is never hope for tomorrow.”

“We have to tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you, my beautiful sister,” she added.

In addition to paying tribute to Holden, Jenner also shared a carousel of vintage family photos through the years.

They include photos of the sisters smiling next to a young Kourtney Kardashian, Houghton hugging a young Rob Kardashian, and the sisters with their mother, Mary Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon poses in front of the Christmas tree.
