King Charles’ ‘retaliatory move’ opens old wounds for Prince Harry

Prince Harry made sure to send a stern message to the royal family, expressing his hurt over the retaliatory actions taken against him by his father, King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex, who was evicted from Frogmore Cottage last year, officially changed his “principal residence” to his home in Montecito, citing the exact date of his eviction when making the change.

According to royal expert and author Tom Quinn, Harry made a very specific move by using the same date to show how hurt he was by the shocking move.

“Harry was furious and in tears about being kicked out of Frogmore,” Quinn told Mirror. “He felt his father had no right to do this and it was pure revenge.”

Quinn explained that Harry “can’t see that choosing to stop being a royal will inevitably mean being deprived of a royal residence.”

The monarch’s “brutal rejection” left him “painfully reminded of the feelings of his father and mother when they argued during their long and painful divorce”.

Quinn’s comments follow reports that Prince Harry and King Charles may be reconciling as the Duke returns to the UK for the Invincible Game event.

Whether father and son are able to resolve their grievances will be revealed when Harry visits the UK in May.
