Kelly Ripa gives a glimpse of her first biggest purchase

Kelly Ripa recently revealed her unexpectedly big but expensive first purchase.

In the edition of April 24 Ripa let’s talk off camera The co-hosts of the podcast, Live with Kelly & Mark, revealed what their first flashy purchase was early in their career.

The 53-year-old podcast and TV host gave an explanation to producers Jan Schiele and Albert Bianchini as to why he gave his mother, Esther, an unusual and strange gift.

Instead of giving her mother, now 82, a more traditional gift like jewelry or clothes, Ripa revealed she used her early earnings to buy a white upright piano.

Next, Bianchini inquired if Ripa’s mother was a pianist.

According to Ripa, her grandmother “always had a piano” and she played the instrument herself; However, his mother does not play the piano. Although it’s not my mom’s fault, Ripa commented that she and her sister Linda ‘took piano lessons for 180 years and still don’t play the piano.’

According to Ripa, her mother redecorated the house after her grandmother passed away, and “some things went out of the house.” He continued to describe how, as part of “modernization” and “redecoration”, his grandmother’s piano had been removed.

The morning talk show host speculated that “it was valuable,” to which Bianchini responded, “I’m sure it was valuable.”

Ripa further added that “nothing ever stood [in its place] Again” as a result of the missing piano.

“So with my first purchase, I got a white lacquer standup piano,” noting that he believes he purchased a Kimball brand piano.

“They’re hard to find, white pianos,” Bianchini said. “It’s great. It’s amazing.”

“Well, in South Jersey, not like that,” Ripa joked.
