It is understood they have also contacted Kate and William privately to offer support during this difficult time.
“Kate doesn’t need Harry and Meghan to comfort her,” Smith told columnist Maureen Dowd. “She has her parents and a sister, and she’s very close to King Charles.”
In fact, Kate has a tight-knit group of friends and family around her who are helping her deal with cancer.
King Charles and Queen Camilla continue to express their love for the royal family in public and private settings.
Meanwhile, Kate’s husband Prince William has been her rock since she underwent major abdominal surgery in January.
