Congress has announced its second list of 43 candidates from five states – Assam, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and the Union Territory of Daman and Diu. A seat in the jurisdiction. During the delimitation exercise in the state, Koliabor constituency was merged with Kaziranga. Sources said Mr Gogoi would prefer to move to Jorhat, which was also the home constituency of his late father Tarun Gogoi.

Nakul Nath, who was rumored to join the Bharatiya Janata Party after his father was ousted as Congress president in Madhya Pradesh, has returned from Chhindwara, the constituency he currently represents take office. Nath Senior, 77, said he would not run again.
