Jim Parsons is delighted to end his 15-year tenure as Dr Sheldon Cooper with a special send-off.

The 51-year-old actor will reprise his role as big bang theory character in the series finale of the spin-off Young Sheldon this past May.

When asked about the experience of returning to the character after seven seasons, Parsons said it was both “very strange” but “also very beautiful.”
