Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11: Finalists pay tribute to Juhi Chawla

In the upcoming episode of popular celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the spotlight will be on iconic Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla. Titled Jashn Juhi Ka, this special episode commemorates Juhi Chawla’s outstanding contribution to Indian cinema, with the finalists delivering captivating dance performances set to her timeless hits from the 1990s. The new promo also reveals that the next episode will star Juhi Chawla herself. The three judges, Farah Khan, Arshad Warsi and Malaika Arora, will also present a grand masquerade challenge to add a unique flavor to the celebrations.

Contestants will be asked to perform dance performances in unique costumes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the highly anticipated show.

In the promo released, Farah Khan also shares some light-hearted banter with Juhi. Farah jokingly asked: “Would you like to eat falooda with me?” Juhi humorously responded: “I have a feeling meri ice cream banne wali hai.” Farah then quipped: “Apki Khulfi Piglane wali hai .”

During their interaction, Farah further asked Juhi some questions about her personal life. She asked if any married actors had expressed romantic interests. To this, Juhi responded candidly: “It may have happened, but the other party never revealed it.” Farah followed up, wondering if Juhi herself had fallen in love with a married actor. Arshad humorously interjected, suggesting that Juhi might have kept the information to himself.

Farrah then posed an interesting question, referring to Juhi’s long-standing endorsement of a hair oil brand known for hair regrowth: “Why don’t you put hair oil on your husband, Jay Mehta?”

Juhi jokingly explained, “In marriages, couples often don’t listen to each other’s advice. He didn’t follow my advice and now look at him.” Hearing this candid answer, the audience burst into laughter.

In the episode, during contestants Adrija Sinha and Akash’s dance performance, Juhi said it reminded her of her time with Jay Mehta romantic journey. The pair’s actions brought back memories for Juhi, who shared, “Jay wrote to me in a similar way before our wedding. You brought back those nostalgic moments.”
