Ryan Gosling abandons career plans

Ryan Gosling recently revealed that the actor is adamant on staying away from directing until his children grow up.

The 43-year-old actor, who is also the father of two daughters; Esmeralda and Amada opened up about their career choices while keeping their families in mind.

The actor revealed about his plans to get back into the director’s chair The Sunday Times Newspaper, “I’m up for it… but directing takes a lot of time.”

“And, right now, my kids are very young — it’s literally 24 hours at home for us right now. So, yes, in the future, but right now, my choice is more based on what’s best for my family in terms of my experience. What’s the point of making this film?”

Actor, best known for playing Kane in Greta Gerwig barbieSaid that he wanted to avoid the hectic shooting schedule due to his failure to make another film like 2011’s Drive.

He further added, “Oh, I couldn’t ‘drive’ anymore, with my kids at this age. I just couldn’t. So these current movies [I’vebeen making] “Let’s just work on the situation we’re in as a family right now.”

For those unaware, Ryan’s most recent projects include barbie And Fall boy. The actor made his directorial debut in 2014 with his film Lost River.
