Jelly Roll is hyping up fans for the upcoming CMT Music Awards.
The 39-year-old country star is up for three more awards this year after taking home three awards at the fan-voted Country Music Video and Television Performance Awards last year.
He shared a video clip of himself making the announcement on Instagram, with the caption: “Can we make history again this year? Thank you CMT and everyone who voted! What a crazy year it was.”
In the video, he begins, “You guys remember last year’s CMT Awards?” he says as the video cuts to a clip of him being announced as the winner last year. “I’ll never forget it, baby!” he exclaimed.
“I don’t know if you remember all the details of it, but let me give you the highlights. We were three against three. We won all three awards,” he recalled, adding, “We introduced the world to need help That night.
He was referring to the lead single from his 2023 album, whitster chapel.

Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, will take the stage again on April 7 this year to attend the 2024 CMT Music Awards, appearing with Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban and others.
