The actor took the mic at Skvlk Fest, a Halloween-themed party organized by him 17 year old daughter AnneliesTo say he was “very disappointed” by the insults shown at his Los Angeles home on Friday, according to a video of the confrontation, which was shared x,
“Why would you do something like that?” Fox, 57, asked the crowd during his expletive-filled speech. “Why would you throw something on stage, dude? Why? It’s free.”
Video of the tense moment shows 26-year-old Glorilha suddenly stopping her performance after a guest threw a glass bottle at her, missing where she was standing on stage. Fox immediately jumped to his defense and asked, “Who did this?”
“Y’all don’t deserve this shit. This is bullshit, brother,” he yelled into the microphone. “I’m so disappointed. I love you all but hate all that shit. It’s not cool, brother. You threw some shit at my house? That’s not cool.”
The move was criticized by festivalgoers, with the R&B singer saying the move was “crazy” before asking if he should close the show.
Glorillah, whose real name is Gloria Woods, also warned the crowd, “I don’t care how young you are, you can get your ass fucked. You’ll get your motherfucking ass fucked.” He then continued his performance and rapped on his hit song “TGIF”.
The annual private Halloween party was restricted to guests ages 14 to 22 and featured artists including Glorilla, Tyga, and Leon Thomas.
After the event, Fox neglected to mention the incident and instead praised her daughter for organizing the celebration in a series of Instagram posts.
