The White House said on Friday that Iran’s threats to retaliate against Israel following an attack in Syria this month that killed two Iranian generals remained “real” and “feasible.”
“We continue to believe the potential threat from Iran is real and viable,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters.
