Iran nuclear facilities 'completely safe' after reports of Israeli attack

Local media in Iran said on Friday that a nuclear facility in the central city of Isfahan was “completely safe” after explosions were heard near the area.

“The nuclear facilities in Isfahan province are completely safe,” Tasnim news agency reported, citing “reliable sources.”

Iran said it had shot down several drones and that the country was “not currently under missile attack.” Iranian Space Agency spokesman Hossein Dalilian said on X that multiple drones “have been successfully shot down by the country’s air defense system and there are currently no reports of missile attacks.”
