Students in grades 9 through 12 volunteer their time to participate in various class competitions, such as a toe-sucking contest that is paid for by classmates. Administrators later apologized to parents and students after praising students for their participation in the school’s “Wonderful Week,” which raised $152,830.38.

In a letter to the media, the district said, “A video is circulating on social media of an event involving students only at this rally, which unfortunately has garnered national attention.
