Infosys fourth-quarter profit jumps 30% to Rs 7,969 crore

Infosys today said its fourth-quarter consolidated profit jumped 30% to Rs 7,969 crore.

IT firm Infosys today said its consolidated profit jumped 30 per cent to Rs 7,969 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2024.

According to a regulatory filing, the company made a profit of 6,128 crore rupees in the same period last year.

Infosys’ consolidated revenue rose 1.3% to Rs 37,923 crore in the reported quarter from Rs 37,441 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The company expects fiscal 2025 revenue to grow 1-3% on a constant currency basis.

Net profit rose 8.9% to Rs 26,233 crore in the year ended March 2024 from Rs 24,095 crore in FY23.

Annual operating income rose 4.7 cents to 1,536.7 billion rupees in fiscal 2024 from 1,467.67 billion rupees a year ago.

The Infosys board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 20 per share for FY24 and an additional special dividend of Rs 8 per share.

The company also announced that it will acquire 100% of the shares of German company in-tech in an all-cash transaction of 450 million euros.
