India’s mission to Israel on Sunday issued new ‘important advice’ to its nationals Iran attacks Jewish state with hundreds of projectilesadvising them to remain calm and follow safety protocols.

In an unprecedented attack, Iran and its proxies launched 330 missiles and drones at Israel on Saturday in retaliation for the Israeli attack. Israel allegedly attacks Islamic Republic diplomatic facility in Damascus Many people were killed, including two senior commanders.

“In view of recent events in the region, all Indian nationals in Israel are advised to remain calm and adhere to the security protocols issued by local authorities,” the Indian delegation said in an “important advisory” posted on its social media handle.

“The embassy is closely monitoring the situation and is in contact with the Israeli authorities and members of the Indian community to ensure the safety of all our nationals,” the statement added.

It also urged Indian nationals to register with the embassy through a specific link.

The Indian embassy also issued an advisory on Friday advising its nationals to “avoid unnecessary travel, remain calm and adhere to safety guidelines issued by local authorities” amid growing speculation of retaliatory attacks by Iran.

This is the first time the Islamic Republic has launched an attack on the Jewish state from its own soil.

Despite the massive amounts of artillery fired at Israel, no country has so far taken any steps to evacuate its nationals, although some of them, including the United States, have issued warnings.

Israel’s schools and other educational institutions have suspended activities until Monday, but government offices and private businesses are largely operating as normal, with the government instructing everyone to follow guidelines issued from behind.

A spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that 99% of the approximately 330 missiles and drones launched by Iran were intercepted, but “the threat is not over yet.”

Iran warned Israel of larger attacks on its territory if it retaliated, adding that U.S. bases would be targeted if Washington supported any Israeli military action against Iran.

The United States, France, Britain and Jordan allegedly helped intercept missiles launched by Iran.

“We intercept, we stop [the attack]. Together we will win,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Hamas called Iran’s attack a “natural right.”

The region is already struggling with Israel’s offensive in Gaza after Hamas launched a terror attack on its territory on October 7, and there are regular exchanges of fire between the Jewish state and Israel. Iran’s threats have led to Diplomatic action was taken to prevent possible further fires in the area. Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah joined the war in solidarity with Hamas.

Houthis and other factions seen as proxies for Iran in Yemen Countries seen as close to Tehran have also carried out occasional attacks on the assets of Israel and other countries that appear to support the Jewish state, disrupting international waters and global trade routes.

Some analysts believe the United States, which is preparing for elections, will not support Israeli retaliation because it could shock oil markets and trigger further economic turmoil, adversely affecting President Joe Biden’s re-election bid.
