Chahal last played T20Is for India in August 2023 and is currently the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2024 with 12 scalps in 7 matches. Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi has experienced what it’s like to represent India in T20Is 24 times since his debut in February 2022. Bishnoi has taken 36 T20I wickets but will find it difficult to be selected in the India T20 squad for the World Cup due to stiff competition. All-rounder Axar Patel is another option in India’s 2024 T20 World Cup squad. He took 49 wickets for India in T20Is with an economy rate of 7.26. However, the reason he’s unlikely to be a Blue Jacket is because of his similarities to Ravindra Jadeja, who is a better Batsman and fielder and has more experience on the international stage than Axar. The only way Axar can force himself into draft competition is if he can have a good season in the 2024 IPL season. So far, he has taken just 5 scalps in 7 games in IPL 2024, which is certainly not enough to force him into reckoning.
