Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched over 2,000 rail infrastructure projects worth nearly Rs 41,000 crore, saying India now dreams big and works day and night to fulfill its dreams.

The third term of his government will begin from June, but the scale and speech with which it is working has taken people by surprise, PM Modi said in his video address, noting the recent launch of several development projects. Hui said.

Highlighting the changes in the Railways, he said people have seen a new India being built in the last 10 years, including the introduction of Vande Bharat trains, cleaning of tracks and emphasis on electrification.

He said that Indian Railways used to be a victim of politics earlier but now it is the mainstay of ease of travel and is also a big source of employment.

PM Modi cautioned the people and said that due to the growing economy of the country, the increase in the budget will have no impact on the ground if the revenue gets leaked due to scams.

He said the renovated railway stations were being used to promote local culture and artisans.

The Prime Minister said that financial losses of Railways used to be a common thing earlier, but the national transporter is now a major force of change.

He said, “I want to tell the youth that their dreams are my resolve. Your dreams, hard work and my resolve are the guarantee of a developed India.”
