In pictures: Aditya Roy Kapur gets restoration for his Royal Enfield Machismo LB500

Aditya Roy Kapur is known for his roles in films like Aashiqui 2, Gumrah, OK Jaanu, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani among others.

He is a famous actor, and like most film stars, he also has a wide collection of high-end vehicles in his garage. Aditya Roy Kapur has enough garage space for both cars and bikes.

Apart from owning luxury cars like Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 5-Series luxury sedan, the Fitoor star also owns a simple car Royal Enfield Machismo LB500.

A post is currently going viral on Instagram in which the actor has got his bike repaired. YCDesign Motorcycle Restoration recently posted pictures of the restored bike on its Instagram handle. The Royal Enfield Machismo LB500 is the motorcycle shown in the pictures. The motorcycle looks brand new and has been well maintained.

According to the pictures, Aditya Roy Kapur’s motorcycle came from the factory with a lot of chrome. The word “chrome” refers to chromium, a hard metallic element that is resistant to corrosion and tarnishing. Chrome was used to complete the engine cover and case area. Even the exhaust and fuel tank had a similar chrome finish.

Many of these chrome components were either replaced or repainted as part of the restoration. For example, the engine compartment of the motorcycle now has a matte black finish. Most likely, this was done to improve the appearance of the motorcycle and simplify maintenance.

The post on Instagram did not include specific information about the restoration. But it appears that most of the panels on the motorcycle have been restored, including the headlight, headlamp cover, mudguard, turn indicators and fuel tank. It appears that the gear and brake levers of the motorcycle have been replaced with new units. Additionally, the ORVMs retain the chrome finish like the stock one.

The exhaust of the motorcycle has been matte-blackened, and apart from the engine, the bend pipe has also been restored to like-new condition.

The seats of Aditya Roy Kapur’s motorcycle also look different. It looks like the seat has been customized or refinished. The motorcycle still has steel rims with spokes, which are painted black to match the overall look of the bike. The tail light and turn indicators of this motorcycle look completely new.

The original tires were replaced with new tires from Reese Moto, a German brand that makes tires for touring and classic motorcycles. The finished product is clean and appears to be a brand new bike straight off the production line.

The motorcycle is powered by a 499-cc single-cylinder engine with 40 Nm and 24 bhp of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and has front disc brakes.
