Former India cricket team batsman Robin Uthappa has revealed a shocking experience during his time with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL after a disappointing 2019 season. Uthappa was part of the KKR franchise between 2014 and 2019 before moving to Rajasthan Royals and eventually to the Chennai Super Kings in 2022. Kings ended his career. In the latest episode of The Ranveer Show, Uthappa claimed that he had a bad year in 2019. He added that he felt that as a senior professional, he was not treated well at KKR.

Robin Utthapa has now spoken out that he may be briefly ousted in his final year at KKR.

Uthappa further said that he took a break from social media for two to three months due to criticism from his fans and decided to focus on his family instead of indulging in negative comments.

“I stopped using social media because if I used social media, I would feel the anxiety and depression coming back. At that time, my son was one year old. I had a wife and a son, and I didn’t want to go through this whole process again. So. , I had to make a very conscious choice, you know?”
