Finished in a shade of Natron Red, this EV produces a whopping 905bhp of power and accelerates from 0-100 in just 2.7 seconds. Congratulations to @harshikarao on your new ride and congratulations to @adsrulz and @krishna_vungarala for bringing the first new Lotus to India.”

What is special about Lotus Electre?

Launched in November last year, the British carmaker introduced this vehicle in three variants. The list includes the Eletre, Eletre S and Eletre R. Talking about the exterior and design patterns, the front profile seems to be inspired by Ferrari as it shares a similar design headlight setup.

It comes with a huge sized bonnet, which has the company logo on the front. It gets arrow-shaped day running lights (DRL), an attractive LED headlight unit, paired with a heavy skid plate on the lower profile. It also has an active grille and large air dam at the front.

When it comes to the side profile, the vehicle looks attractive from every corner, which clearly shows the best efforts of the company. It comes with heavy cladding, complemented by 22-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. Moving inside, the e-SUV is loaded with a number of advanced features that make every drive brimming with comfort and ease.

Power and battery setup

Under the hood, the Lotus Elettre comes with a 112kWh battery pack as standard, paired with a dual-motor setup, giving the car a maximum power of 600 bhp and peak torque of 710 Nm. The company has claimed that this four-wheeler is capable of giving a maximum range of up to 600 km on full top-up. Lotus also revealed that the Electra R has taken the title of the world’s fastest production e-SUV with a top speed of 258 kmph.
