Honor MagicBook Pro 16 AI PC and Honor Pad 9 launched at MWC: Check prices

Honor launched a series of new products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The Chinese manufacturer launched the Honor Magic 6 series, Honor Magic V2 ahead of the event. The company also launched new laptops and tablets at MWC. Honor MagicBook Pro 16 and Honor Pad 9 were launched on Sunday. The new laptop comes with artificial intelligence capabilities and is powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs. The Honor Pad 9, on the other hand, is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and comes with a 12.1-inch display with 2.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Honor MagicBook Pro 16 and Honor Pad 9 prices

Honor MagicBook Pro 16 is available in white and purple colors. Honor has yet to reveal pricing details for the laptop, but has confirmed that it will first land in the Chinese market, with a global release expected in the second quarter of 2024.

The Honor Pad 9 price in the UK starts at £299.99 (approximately Rs. 31,499) for the single 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage model. With the keyboard accessory, the tablet is priced at £349.99 (approximately Rs. 36,748). The Honor Pad 9 is available in Cyan Lake and Space Gray colors and is currently available for purchase through Honor in China, parts of Europe and Saudi Arabia. website.

Honor MagicBook Pro 16 specifications

Honor MagicBook Pro 16 runs Windows 11 out of the box and is equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 155H, which has 6 performance cores, 8 high-efficiency cores and 2 low-power high-efficiency cores. The laptop’s 16-inch display has a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels, supports 100% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB wide color gamut, and has a refresh rate of up to 165Hz.

Honor’s laptops come with GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPUs. It comes with AI features such as smart image search, smart document summarization, text understanding, AI subtitles, and magic text.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 includes six speakers, including four woofers and two tweeters. Honor claims it is the world’s first Windows PC-based spatial audio laptop. The laptop comes with a 75Wh battery that is said to offer up to 12 hours of battery life.

Honor Tablet 9 Specifications

The Honor Pad 9 runs MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13 and is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

The newly launched tablet comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, and USB Type-C port. The tablet also comes with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and gravity sensor.

Honor’s latest tablet packs an 8,300mAh battery and comes with dual microphones and 8 speakers. The dimensions of Honor Tablet 9 are 278.27 x 180.11 x 6.9mm and the weight is about 555g.
