Top two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the all-new NX500 adventure tourer. This technology-packed bike has been introduced at a starting price of Rs. Rs 5.9 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). It has been informed by the brand that the model has made its official entry in the market through the Completely Built-Up route (CBU).

As per the details shared by the company, the newly released vehicle comes with a long list of robust features, enabling it to provide a smooth ride on any terrain. The company has already started booking it and it will be sold through Bigwing dealerships across the country.

Engine and Power

The bike is powered by a reliable 471cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke DOHC engine, which generates 46bhp of maximum power at 8,600rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The unit is paired with a slick-shifting 6-speed gearbox.

The all-new NX500 comes with a long list of top trending features, making it an ideal package in the segment. It gets a new 5-inch full-color TFT screen, which allows riders to keep an eye on some important information related to the bike. The list includes speed, RPM, fuel capacity, mileage, gear position and more. The main screen comes with a customizable feature, which allows the rider to change or choose the background colors of white, black and auto as well as the style between bar, circle and simple.

body and frame

When it comes to the body, the vehicle has a steel diamond-tube mainframe with a 19-inch aluminum Y-shaped 5-spoke tire at the front and a 17-inch tire at the rear. To make it more comfortable and provide a smooth riding experience, it has been treated with Showa 41mm SFF-BP upside-down (USD) front forks and Pro-Link mono-suspension at the rear.

As far as braking is concerned, the bike is equipped with dual 296 mm front discs with two-piston callipers at the front and 240 mm disc with 1-piston callipers at the rear with dual-channel ABS as standard.
