The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday postponed to February 12 the hearing on the plea contesting the order allowing Hindu prayers in the cellar of Gyanvapi Masjid.

The Allahabad High Court heard the case and adjourned it on February 12.

The Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee, which manages the affairs of the mosque adjoining the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi, filed a plea on Friday challenging the Varanasi court order allowing prayers to be conducted in the southern cellar of the Gyanvapi Masjid.

The Allahabad High Court did not grant any immediate relief to the Gianwapi Masjid Committee challenging the Varanasi district court order.
