Harry Kane’s three eldest children were taken to hospital as a precaution after a three-car collision in Germany.

The collision occurred near Munich at around 5.15pm local time on Monday as the 30-year-old arrived with Bayern Munich for their Champions League quarter-final tie with Arsenal.

Munich police said a Renault car carrying four people, carrying Kane’s three children aged 3 to 7, collided with an oncoming Mercedes-Benz while turning left onto the A95 highway. while driving on National Highway 2071.

The Renault then spun and hit the Land Rover.

“All passengers of the vehicle involved in the accident sustained minor injuries,” police said.

Kane’s children Louise, Vivian and Ivy were taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.

Munich police estimated the damage from the accident to be in the tens of thousands of euros.

It added: “The intersection area was partially closed for approximately two hours while the incident was investigated. Traffic was disrupted.”

The England captain and his wife Kate have four children.

His youngest child, Harry Jr., who was born last August, and his wife were not in the car.

Kane left London last summer to join Munich and his boyhood club Tottenham Hotspur to join Bayern on a four-year contract.

The first few months of his stay in Germany were spent in a hotel, with his wife Kate and their young family staying until after Christmas when they moved into their new house.

He has been taking German classes to learn the language.
