Under the collaboration, GEML will supply electric two-wheelers, and Alt Mobility will purchase and lease them through its ecosystem. GeML said the collaboration is an important milestone in its plans to expand into the B2B segment.
Alt Mobility, which currently operates over 700 Ampere Magnus SWS vehicles in Delhi and Bengaluru, plans to expand the partnership with GEML in the coming months.
Magnus SWS, developed for B2B use, is being deployed with the support of Indofast Energy, which provides energy infrastructure and battery-swapping solutions to improve operational uptime for fleets.
The vehicles will be offered through Alt Mobility’s drive-to-own model, which claims to provide gig riders, delivery partners and fleet operators access to cost-effective, zero-emission transportation.
The Magnus SW S is built at Ampere’s factory in Ranipet and is backed by GEML’s 17 years of EV experience. It features a dual-frame chassis tested for payloads up to 200 kg, 165 mm ground clearance, 12-inch tyres, a high-performance motor and IoT-enabled features for fleet management.
The scooter comes with a warranty of three years or up to 75,000 km and is backed by over 500 Ampere Care touchpoints across India.
Vikas Singh, Managing Director, Greaves Electric Mobility, said, “GEML is committed to strengthening India’s B2B ecosystem by providing reliable EV solutions to fleet operators and riders. … Our partnership with Alt Mobility reflects our vision of building a future-ready B2B ecosystem where electric mobility is not only sustainable but also accessible and efficient.”
