Google Messages launches chat emoji reactions to make messaging fun!know how to use it

Google Messages has been undergoing several updates recently to make the platform more interactive and intuitive for users. As it continues its efforts to introduce custom themes and background colors, users have just discovered a new feature. To make communication easy and fun, the app first included animated emojis, photo emojis, effects and more, and now it is launching chat emoji reactions, similar to the ones we use on WhatsApp, Instagram or iMessage. Google Messages emoji reactions feature

According to 9To5Google Report, Google Messages now includes an emoji reaction feature that allows users to drop reactions to text. To add a reaction to a text, you simply long-press on a specific text message and an emoji menu will appear from which you can select the relevant emoji. The reaction consists of 10 emoji characters, including “Thumbs Up,” “Heart,” “Laughing,” “Down,” “Party Popper,” “Crying Face,” and more.

In an additional twist, the Emoji Reactions feature has multiple animations appear in front of the screen when you select an emoji. “The magic unfolds immediately as animated three hands dance around the message bubble,” Google said in a blog post. The feature is starting to roll out now, so you may see reactions in your devices in a few days. The company added, “This feature is designed to add dynamics to your chats, embodying the power of expression.”

Google Messages is also currently rolling out custom themes and background colors for beta users. A stable version of the feature is expected to roll out to users in the coming weeks. Google is rumored to be working on more such features to make the app more intuitive. Please note that Google Messages emoji reactions are currently available on Android devices. However, iMessage already provides this feature for iPhone.
