Talking about the match, Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant won the 35th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday took the toss and elected to bowl first against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH).

The Hyderabad-based team performed well in the 17th season of IPL. Pat Cummins’ side currently sit fourth in the table with eight points and a net run rate of +0.502. SRH defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 25 runs in the final match of the tournament.

“We are going to bowl first. The wickets are looking good and we want to chase because we are playing more as a batting unit. We have more batsmen. Maybe there will be a dew. The only thing we say is ‘Stay on the field’. “Yes, they played very good cricket but you can’t let them get away with it, the ground doesn’t matter and ultimately you have to play good cricket. During the match, Lalit replaced Sumit. Ishant, who was suffering from back spasms five minutes ago, came on and Norje came on. ” Pant said after winning the toss.

SRH skipper Pat Cummins said they will play with the same team.
