All flights at Liverpool John Lennon Airport were grounded after a power outage, with passengers warned of possible delays.

The airport said engineers “have resolved the earlier air traffic control power issue”, but flights may still be delayed.

Now flight operations have resumed at the airport.

“Your flight may be delayed, please contact your airline for any further updates. We apologize for any inconvenience,” it said in a statement.
