Royal Challengers Bangalore’s match against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur was all about one man – Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli’s century blitz helped Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) register a 183/3 victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday.

The ‘Pink City’ Jaipur witnessed the brilliant batting of batting maestro Kohli, who became the first batsman to score 7,500 runs in the IPL in the history of the tournament. The batting maestro played a brilliant innings and remained unbeaten at 113 off 72 balls while captain Faf du Plessis scored 44 runs.

Kohli, who batted first, started his innings in an aggressive manner, extracting two boundaries off Nandre Burger in the second over.

Captain Faf du Plessis led his team from the front, breaking boundaries at regular intervals. In the sixth round of the competition, the two presented their 50-point partnership stance. Faf du Plessis bowled out Trent Boult for 15 runs with the help of two maximum runs in the 9th over.

With a brilliant six, Kohli scored a stunning half-century and his third goal of the season in the 11th over of the match. The RCB opener also scored a hundred in the 12th over.

Yuzvendra Chahal finally gave the team the breakthrough as he dismissed RCB captain Faf du Plessis, who Faf du Plessis) was caught after scoring 44 runs in 33 balls at the end of the 14th over. Chahal was denied the wicket of Du Plessis in the previous ball when Trent Boult took a catch near deep extra cover.
