First picture of Ram Lala inside the sanctum sanctorum of Ayodhya temple

The new idol of Ram Lalla made of black stone, which depicts the Lord as a five-year-old child, was placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya amid prayers on Thursday afternoon. In the first photo of the 51-inch statue, created by Mysore artist Arun Yogiraj, her face was covered with a veil.

Ramlala’s grand consecration ceremony or ‘Pran Pratishtha’ is scheduled for January 22.
