Srinagar, May 07: Manoj Sinha, Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant, said on Wednesday that he took stock of the situation in the districts of India when India launched airstrikes in Pakistan to destroy terrorist camps in response to the Pavalgam attack in Pakistan.
In a post on X, LG said that he is closely monitoring the situation and the government is fully prepared to deal with any incident.
He said, “The situation has been reviewed in the border districts of J&K UT along with all senior administrative, police and district officials, including DC of all border districts. I am closely monitoring the situation and the government is fully prepared to deal with any incident,” he said.
He said that he directed the DCS to ensure the villagers from weak areas to safe places and to ensure boarding, housing, food, medicare and transportation and safety of each citizen would be ensured.
