Srinagar, May 07: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, along with all senior administrative, police and district officials including deputy commissioners of all border districts, took stock of the situation in the border districts of Jammu and Kashmir before this morning.
Lieutenant Governor is closely monitoring the situation. He reiterated that the government is fully prepared to deal with any incident.
“We will ensure the safety of each citizen,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
The Lieutenant Governor has directed deputy commissioners to transfer villagers to safe places from weak areas and to ensure boarding, housing, food, medicine and transportation.
Lieutenant Governor posted on X: “The situation has been reviewed in the border districts of Jammu and Kashmir with all senior administrative, police and district officials, including DCs of all border districts. I am closely monitoring the situation and the government is fully ready to deal with any incident.
I have directed DCS to transfer villagers from weak areas and to ensure boarding, housing, food, medicines and villagers. We will ensure the safety of every citizen. Jai Hind! ,
