Canada’s premiere has been designed to meet with the third and final day of its meeting in Ontario’s Cottage, internal trade, public safety and health care on the agenda.
The premiere met with Prime Minister Mark Carney at Huntsville, Onts on Tuesday to discuss the ongoing trade war with US President Donald Trump after a meeting with the first nation leaders on the previous day.
The Prime Minister and Premier presented a united front in the face of the American tariff, but the trade talks revealed very little about the August 1st interaction.
The Prime Minister and Premier all further reduced the importance of getting a deal to avoid the American tariff, saying that they want the best deal regardless of time.
Many provinces also signed several free trade deals to open internal trade, while others committed to the manufacture of pipelines to obtain oil and gas in new markets.
Premier is all set to hold a concluding press conference this afternoon.
