Dwayne Johnson said that “Moana 2” is “more profound for me than the movie, and I know it’s more profound for Disney as well.”

Commenting on his role in the film, he admitted that the role was “more than just a show” as it primarily represented his culture.

He further revealed that his character has the same tattoos as the actor himself and, most importantly, said the character himself is very close to his grandfather’s heart.

“It’s deeper than the movie for me, and I know it’s deeper for Disney,” Johnson said.

The story begins when Moana receives a call from her ancestors and embarks on a journey to the far seas of Oceania, entering dangerous, long-lost waters and embarking on an unexpected adventure.
