Driver of £250,000 McLaren supercar crash leaves three injured and hunt is underway

Police are hunting the driver of a £250,000 McLaren supercar who fled the scene of a crash.

Three people were injured and the wrecked purple McLaren was left on London Road in Surrey on Sunday.

An injured man was taken to hospital after being found lying on the side of the road on the A30 London Virginia Water Road.

A spokesman for Surrey Police said: “Last night (March 24) we received a call to reports of a collision between two cars on the A30 London Road in Virginia Water.

“The incident occurred at around 5.30pm near the Virginia Water car park.

“The vehicles involved included a black Audi and a purple McLaren. After the incident, the driver of the McLaren left the scene and his whereabouts are still under investigation.

“The passenger in the McLaren and two passengers in the Audi suffered minor injuries and received treatment.

“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision, or saw both vehicles traveling before the incident, or anyone with any other information that could assist our inquiries, to contact us immediately. If you can help please get in touch We also quote reference number PR/45240033550.
