Drake Bell doesn’t appear to be happy at all with Nickelodeon after the showrunners responded to the actor’s sexual abuse revelations through conversations and acting coach Brian Peck in the Investigation Discovery documentary. Quiet on the set: The dark side of children’s television.

“There’s a very tailored response, ‘understand his trauma,’ because they can’t say they didn’t know about it or what happened, or anything,” drake and josh The 37-year-old alum opened up about his feelings about the reaction in a new episode The Sarah Fraser Show Podcast Friday March 22nd.

“So I think this was probably a carefully crafted response from some big lawyer in Hollywood.”

“I found their response to be hollow,” Bell added, “because, I mean, they still play our show, they still play our show. I have to pay for my own therapy, I have to figure out — I mean, if there’s anything, if there’s any truth behind it that they actually care about, certainly the quotes on the page are not just legal representatives telling me they knew exactly how to tailor a response.”
