Disqualified Himachal Congress MLA threatens to 'expose' Sukhwinder Suhu

They claim Mr Sohu became nervous as power slipped from his hands (Documents)

Hamirpur/Shimla:

Six disqualified MPs from Himachal Pradesh said on Saturday they would file a defamation case against Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sohu and threatened to “expose” him.

In a joint statement, the six disqualified MPs and three independents said they had decided to file defamation proceedings against Mr Sohu and the onus would be on the chief minister to prove the allegations he leveled against them.

Six MPs, who abstained from voting on the cuts motion and the Finance Bill (Budget) in Parliament, have been disqualified from attending the House and voting for the government for defying the party whip.

Disqualified MPs Rajendra Rana, Ravi Thakur, Sudhir Sharma, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Chetanya Sharma and Devinder Kumar Bhutto and independent MPs KL Thakur, Hoshiyar Singh and Ashish Sharma said they will tell the public about their actions and developments in the past 14 months How humiliated in their constituencies the work was halted.

They claim Mr Sohu became nervous as power slipped from his hands, fearing his “actions” would be exposed if he lost power.

They also say the government has closed its doors to unemployed young people, parliamentary manifestos have been consigned to the dustbin and “favoreds” have been rewarded even during a severe financial crisis.
