Jr. NTR’s much-awaited film Devara will not be released in April this year. Being a multilingual film, the actor has now officially announced the new release date of the film as October 10, 2024. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

“Devara Part 1” will be released in theaters on October 10, 2024, on the occasion of Dussehra. Man of Masses NTR Jr officially announced the news in a special post on social media: , “#Devara Part 1 will be released on 10/10/24.”

A source close to the production house had earlier told Pinkvilla, “Devara is a high-end visual effects film and its production took longer than expected. The makers made it clear that they will not compromise on the visual effects as the stakes are high. NTR Jr. is also very cautious about the next step after RRR and wants to deliver a big cinematic experience. The makers are now hoping to arrive in the second half of 2024.”

There are about 20 days of shooting left in the ongoing visual effects work, which has been delayed due to Saif’s injury.

Earlier this year, the producers released the long-awaited trailer for the film. The video starts with Jr. NTR fight scene. He was seen dressed as a villager fighting with thugs. Although the night scene cannot see everyone’s faces clearly, it is definitely a tense and exciting scene.

On January 1, Jr.NTR shared a poster. In the poster, the actor is standing on a boat in the middle of the sea. He had a nervous expression on his face and was wearing a shirt and black pants.

Devara is located on the coast and is helmed by Koratala Siva. The film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in south films and her first collaboration with Jr. NTR. Just like RRR, the Telugu film will reportedly have high-intensity action sequences and is expected to take the audience by surprise. According to reports, Dewara is being made on a huge budget. According to reports, the makers spent a whopping Rs 140 crore on visual effects. Rumor has it that the producers also spent 33% of the film’s original budget on special effects.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara Part 1 will be divided into two parts. This magnum opus is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The music of the film has been choreographed by Anirudh Ravichander and the cinematography is by R Rathnavelu. The film’s BGM song “Long Live the Tiger” has also gone viral on social media, making fans even more excited about the film.
